Gaine couldn’t help but start chuckling.  Black Gaine seemed to have such a way with animals, the zoo seemed like it would have been a great place to visit.  He couldn’t have been more right, but when it came time to leave, Black looked sadly back at him.  An assortment of animals from the safari exhibit had quite literally attached themselves to him, curled up on his legs or nestled in small gaps of armor.  He didn’t want to move, and when Gaine said it was time to head home, the darker train robot looked heartbroken. 

“Can’t we stay a little longer?” he requested, petting the head of a large tiger napping on his shoulder.  “I want to make more friends.”

“We can come back tomorrow,”  came Gaine’s soft reply.  “There’ll be plenty of time to make friends.”
